Is there a world out there?

Something simple, yet striking; a paradox. We are all the same, we are each unique. People are selfish; often we are so wrapped up in ourselves and how "special" we are that we forget that everyone was created with a unique set of traits, tastes and talents. We forget that, despite these differences, we are all human beings; each life a precious thing to be valued, treasured. It's a difficult thing to balance, but completely worthwhile. Give value to yourself, give value to others. Be confident in your strengths, humble in your weaknesses; open to growth in both. Listen, and don't mock. The world is filled with six billion lives that are just as complex and intriguing as your own.
